We automatically verify each patient’s insurance for weight loss and bariatric benefits when we receive completed patient paperwork. You can also request your insurance be verified here.
You will receive a call from the insurance verification department prior to your initial appointment. This phone call should confirm if your insurance covers bariatric surgery. If your insurance does offer bariatric benefits, the insurance requirements and potential out-of-pocket costs will be explained.
If our services are covered by insurance, deductibles and co-pays are due at the time of service.
If your insurance does not have bariatric benefits, you can take advantage of our “self-pay” program. Services are discounted in this program to make bariatric surgery more accessible for patients.
The total cost of services can be difficult to estimate because every patient is unique, and the number of appointments and type of testing varies from patient to patient. There is an estimated cost of $7,000 to $10,000 from initial consultation to surgery. Actual costs may vary.
